the hardest thing is when ur going through something terrible there is an awful middle phase of it when u don’t know if u can get through it or if you’ll ever be okay again and the truth is always you will get through it and you will absolutely be okay again but u just cant see it at the time

The vessel was filled with a volatile concoction, usually a mixture of flammable liquids, sulphur and other combustible substances. It was then thrown at enemy ships or troops, where the impact caused the vessel to burst, dispersing the fiery contents and setting the target ablaze.

vulture culture as trauma work
many, many people in the community have gravitated toward this work as a way to reckon with death & face something deeply painful and terrifying & to do something with the love and care that we hold for others long after their death
I know a lot of us are here mainly because bones are cool but we’re also a community with a ton of survivors and I have a lot of love for y’all. Death touches everyone and there are really deep, nuanced reasons why we are drawn to interact with it.
Had a lot of fun putting these “dental plaques” together recently! Each one has 50+ real animal teeth carefully fitted together like puzzle pieces and glued in place on a wooden plaque.
